Removable Dentures

If you’ve lost your teeth, you’re not alone. Roughly 26 percent of adults in the U.S. between the ages of 65 and 75 have lost all their teeth. Removable dentures are a versatile and affordable way to replace them.

Depending on your situation, you may need:

  • Standard full dentures — This full set of upper and lower teeth uses suction to stay in place.
  • Partial dentures — These single-piece dentures replace a limited number of teeth and are supported by the remaining teeth and gums. They are more secure and comfortable than standard full dentures.
  • Cosmetic dentures — Made to look as natural as possible, these dentures use a special acrylic base that eliminates the possibility of shrinking or warping. Some achieve a natural look through the use of implants that are installed in your mouth so that the dentures can rest or snap onto the implant.

This allows the denture the stay in place, making it more comfortable than a standard denture.
